Relaxation

On days like today when it's raining outside, I like to spend it taking care of myself.

Relaxation is necessary for rejuvenation, recovery, and internal healing. To enjoy life and have a good life you need to make time for those things that help to relax your body, mind, and soul.


Everything depends on our breath, everything in our body functions between and inhale and exhale. We often ignore our breath and it sometimes connects our body and mind. Breath plays a very important role in managing our mind and body and breathing techniques can help in stress relief and relaxation E.G. Pranayama - changing the flow of breath.

Meditation allows you just to be! not doing anything at all on any level. It's about simply being as you are relaxing and is one of the best ways to clear the mind chatter.


With meditation, the internal dialogue stops, and when the mind settles, the body and the mind are connected!


Remember, sometimes less is more and simple things like having a hot shower or lighting candles can help you de-stress. Listening to the rain or music can help to let out frustrations and worries. Spending time with people you like being around can help in relaxation and rejuvenation.

Relaxation techniques vary from person to person and many have different things that they find relaxing. At the end of the day, it's all about giving time to yourself to relax in order to have a peaceful mind, a healthy body, and a true soul.
